4分的英制管螺纹即1/2英寸管螺纹，外径是20.956mm，内径是18.632mm，每英寸14牙，螺距1.814mm。

3）G是55度非密封管螺纹，属惠氏螺纹家族。标记为G代表圆柱螺纹。国标查阅GB/T7307-2001。

这个一般是管螺纹才这样说，但是1/8圆柱管螺纹的外径不是1/8英寸，而是9.728毫米
只有是英制惠氏螺纹的时候，如1/8-40外径才是1/8英寸（3.175mm）
