historical和historic的区别

Historical 和historic，都是history衍生出来的单词，这两者都为形容词，但是意义是有区别的，historical指历史上的，侧重在历史上出现过或与历史有关的，也指史学等与历史相关的。historic通常指历史上有名的、可成为史料的、具有重大历史意义的或具有历史价值的。

1.historic 主要指历史上有名或具有历史意义，侧重强调其影响性。如：

a historic character 历史名人

a historic building 具有历史意义的建筑

Today is a historic occasion for our country.今天是我国具有历史意义的日子。

The area is of special historic interest. 这个地区有特别历史意义。
