首先，学计算机能够明显地激发小学生的学习兴趣。对于没有接触过电脑的小学生来说，最初学习计算机时，通过老师的讲解，他们会觉得计算机是一个很神奇的新“玩意”，对这一新鲜事物极为感兴趣。他们会提出很多关于计算机的问题，尽管很多问题看来很幼稚，但这却对激发他们的学习兴趣是很重要的。在计算机的学习过程中，我会根据教学设计和学生们提出的问题，设定一些任务来引导他们的学习。这些任务可能是如何输入一段文字，设定字号，等一些很简单的任务，通过完成这些小任务，学生的学习兴趣被充分调动起来，而且效果还十分好。小学生的特点是好动，注意力难集中，注意力容易转移，正是因为这些原因使他们在传统的课堂教学中，有时学习效果和质量不佳。在计算机教学环境下，教师不再用简单传统的说教式教学，而是将现代建构主义学习理论指导下的教学手段和方法运用到教学中，教师与学生是互动的。这样教师与学生更易于沟通，小学生也更容易接受。面对新鲜生动的 *** 作界面，他们的注意力能够很集中。因此，计算机在激发学生的学习兴趣，吸引其注意力方面作用是巨大的。

其次，学计算机，寓教于乐，集娱乐、游戏、学习于一体，有效地减轻了小学生的学习压力，增加了其学习的主动性。小学生的天性是贪玩，针对这一特点，将娱乐、游戏带入到学习中，使他们学得轻松，学得愉快，这也是我们实施情感教育要达到的目标。我们在计算机上面装了一些简单、益智的游戏，以及一些校园歌曲，反映校园生活的CD等。在学习中，穿插娱乐和游戏，集娱乐、游戏、学习于一体，寓教于乐，符合小学生的认知结构和认知特点，让他们既满足了好奇心和贪玩的天性，又学到了知识，高质量地达到了教学大纲设定的目标。小学生在这一过程中，很大程度地减轻了学习压力，学习变得主动，充分激发了他们的求知欲望。

再次，现代化的教学形式、教学手段，全面提高了小学生各方面的能力。我们以计算机为载体，充分运用网络、多媒体电化教学等手段，以此来全面实施素质教育。一个重要的例子就是，电化教学在我们小学语文教学中的应用。多媒体电化教学，是采用幻灯、投影、多媒体计算机等电教媒体，传送教学信息的现代化教学手段。

小学语文教学，一方面进行听说读写的训练，培养学生的该文能力，另一方面，让他们认识自然，认识社会，发展学生的认识能力。我们利用多媒体电化教学，可以不受时间、空间的限制，能将一些比较抽象的语文知识具体化，能直接把一些事物的运动过程或生长变化形象地在计算机上加以展示，这有利于开拓了学生感知事物的广阔天地，扩展学生的视野，帮助他们在观察、比较中发展思维，从而更好地体现学习语文和认识事物的结合，使小学生加深对所说知识的理解。小学生对感性事物的记忆力较强，这种教学形式，具有图形声音，可以让他们从中获得完整鲜明的表象，在他们回忆所学知识时，生动的情景历历在目，有利于保持记忆，巩固所学知识。

计算机在 *** 作过程中，需要手、脑、眼并用，这就有效地提高了小学生动手、动眼、动脑的协调能力，有利于其身体各方面素质的提高。
